So this movie is a remake of the 1973 movie of the same name which was altogether inspired by David Pinner’s 1967 novel Ritual. The plot is centered around Edward Malus (Nicolas Cage), who is a conflicted cop when he learns from his ex-fiancee that his daughter is missing.
